Evidence status: VERIFIED · Reviewed 3 October 2026.
Project parties: Brighton College International / Maarif Education.
Maarif Education announced its Brighton College partnership on 22 September 2026 at the British Embassy in Riyadh. The first school is planned for 2028; a second school planned for 2030 is contextual pipeline information, excluded from the Monitor’s 2026–2029 totals. Site, capacity, fees and construction status are not disclosed in the announcement.
Project status remains in development, with a planned opening in 2028. Verification applies to the institutional announcement and its stated plans; it does not establish construction commencement, a secured site, a granted licence, completed regulatory approval or a confirmed operational opening.
Maarif’s announcement is the primary source. Richard Cairns’ previously supplied LinkedIn material is historical evidence only and is no longer the verification basis.
